Best Restaurants in Denver, Colorado

Our ranking of Denver's best restaurants, from The Wolf's Tailor's two Michelin stars to Bib Gourmand favorites, with live Google ratings and booking tips.

Denver eats better than its reputation. Since the MICHELIN Guide arrived in Colorado, the city has collected eight starred restaurants of its own, with a ninth up the road in Boulder, and the 2026 statewide edition confirmed what locals already knew: the best cooking here is personal, small and worth planning a trip around.

This is our curated list, in our own order, cross-checked with the MICHELIN Guide and live Google ratings. We weigh the food first, then the room, the service and how special the night feels. Michelin distinctions are marked from the 2026 Colorado guide, and Google's live rating sits beside each place so you can compare.

Good to know

Book the starred counters as early as you can. Several seat fewer than twenty guests a night, and reservations are released on a schedule, so the best dates go quickly. Note each restaurant's release day and book the moment tables open.

Most of the list sits in a tight triangle of LoDo, LoHi and RiNo, a short ride apart. South Pearl Street (Kizaki, Margot, Sushi Den) and Cherry Creek are a little farther out, so plan on a taxi or rideshare rather than counting on parking.
